DILLIAN WHYTE has told Anthony Joshua he is not welcome at Saturday’s dust-up with Tyson Fury.The Body Snatcher wants Joshua to snub a ringside seat at Wembley to focus on saving his own career in his July rematch with Ukraine’s Olesksandr Usyk.

“In the build-up to the last Usyk fight he was too worried about re-matching me and telling people he wanted to beat me up.

“We have the same blood and bones and organs — our skin colours and cultures might be a little different — but I don’t feel the need to intimidate anyone.

When Fury’s father John tried to grab the limelight at Wednesday’s pre-fight meet by stepping up to Whyte’s face, a dangerous melee could have broken out until Whyte and Tyson cooled things down.
When two-fight rival Derek Chisora launched a table at Whyte during a press conference in 2016, the South Londoner did not flinch, let alone retaliate.
The reason why is very simple and should keep the undefeated Gypsy King on his toes.
Whyte said: “I am about that life. I don’t play it.
“Throwing tables at innocent people is stupid, real guys don’t do that. That’s why I didn’t react.
“I don’t train myself to switch it off or on. It comes when it comes.
“It might come 30 seconds before I leave the dressing room or 20 seconds into my ring walk.
“It might come earlier in fight week because of something somebody says or it might just come when the first bell goes. I don’t know and I don’t want to know.”
CLEARED OF POSITIVE DRUGS TEST
Whyte has got his title shot the hard way after a 30-fight career that features two defeats.
The first pro loss was to Joshua in 2015.
In 2019 Whyte was under a UK Anti-Doping investigation that was thrown out just hours before his win over Mariusz Wach.
He was a bloated 19st 5lb, distraught over the accusations and boxed poorly by his standards.
Whyte declared: “I was innocent and fighting for my career over something I didn’t do.
“My head was f*** because, when you do something and you get caught, you can accept it. “But that f*** destroyed me because I didn’t do anything, which was proven in the end.”
He lost for a second time in 2020, to Alexander Povetkin. But he KO’d the Russian in their rematch last year to set up the showdown with Fury.
After that scrap, Whyte revealed he was so focused on Povetkin he had not even met his four-month-old baby son.
That sort of dedication is why Fury does not agree with bookies making Whyte a big underdog.
Whyte added: “I like to keep all that personal stuff private.
“I see all of my kids when I can. But I am working now to provide for their future and then we can spend some more and better time together.

OLEKSANDR USYK has been STRIPPED of his honours with Crimea after joining up with the Ukraine army to fight the Russian invasion.Usyk put his boxing career on hold just months after sensationally beating Anthony Joshua to become unified heavyweight champ to join the war effort.

The Ukrainian was born in in the Crimean city of Simferopol but is now based in Kyiv with his family.
But his actions have not gone down well with Chairman of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov.
As reported by RIA, he said: “These are [people] who arranged and welcomed the water and energy blockade of Crimea, who question the fairness and legitimacy of our return to Russia, who stained themselves with Russophobia.
“Such people are not worthy of a good memory.”

Boxing legends Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, as well as former world champ Vasiliy Lomachenko, all joined the Ukrainian war effort to battle the Russians.
Usyk has since left the frontline to get back into training for a rematch against Joshua.
Negotiations resumed after Usyk was given permission to leave his homeland and both sides have come to a suitable agreement for the tussle.

During an appearance on talkSPORT, Matchroom Boxing chief Eddie Hearn said: “The fight’s all done, it’s all agreed.
“It’s 100 per cent Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk the rematch.
“We’re finalising the location at the moment, his team are in London this week so we’re gonna sit down with them.
“I think in two weeks time we’ll finalise the date. It will be July.
“And hopefully AJ can become a three-time heavyweight world champion.”
Joshua, 32, was turned over by the slick southpaw in their Tottenham tussle last September and lost his grip on the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles.

One of the most-talked-about British boxers Benn said: “Dillian Whyte definitely has a chance.
“You got to remember the hard fights [Fury] has had with Wilder, but then Whyte has been inactive. So it’s a hard one.
“It’s the heavyweights. A punch can change the game, but Fury has shown he has the punching power as well.
“Listen, when you get hit with 17 or 18 stone on your chin, you definitely know about it. It’s a tough fight for both men. I’d like to think Whyte can win but I wouldn’t be putting my money anywhere.
“I’m on the fence, I wouldn’t put a bet on this one. I could see it going to points and I think Whyte could win on points, I do. He’s robust, he’s rugged, he comes in and and takes the fight to Fury.
“But, Fury is a fighting man so it just makes for a great fight.”

Former WBA heavyweight world champion Parker is a training partner of Fury’s – and he can only see one result at Wembley.
The 30-year-old said: “Tyson’s training camp has been great from what I’ve seen.
“Him and his team have been doing all they can and I think he’s ready for this challenge in front of him.
“I’ve predicted that Tyson can get a knockout early. But Whyte is a handful.

David Haye – Whyte win
Former two-weight world champ Haye believes Whyte will upset the applecart, telling Boxing Social: “If I had a pound, I’d put it on Dillian Whyte for the upset.
“Yeah, I’m going with Dillian with the massive, massive upset. We had an upset with Anthony Joshua (against Oleksandr Usyk).
“It happens, crazy stuff happens.
“And in the heavyweight division, when you think you have things figured out, something crazy happens.
“And someone crazy is Dillian Whyte, and the fact that he’s not interested in doing any promotion, all he wants to do is get in the ring and fight, I think that’s a positive.”

Johnny Nelson – Fury win
Former cruiserweight champ Nelson has got up close to both boxers during his time as a TV pundit.
And he is going for Fury to make a successsufl title defence.
He told talkSPORT: “You’ve got to go by form. I have to lean towards Tyson Fury on past results and past form, he’s the only one who has done everything and backed up everything he’s said and done. So, I would have to go with Tyson Fury.
“Saying that, when I’m hearing the statements saying Whyte hasn’t got a chance, I think whoever’s saying that is absolutely ridiculous.
“Dillian Whyte has got every chance but he’s coming up against a man who’s unbeaten and is so far unbeatable.”

Derek Chisora – Whyte win
Chisora is so confident Whyte will knock Fury out that he is willing to bet his house on it.
The 38-year-old said: “I’m willing to put my house on it that Dillian Whyte is gonna knock Tyson Fury out.
“Tyson is my mate, but I know he’s listening and he’s gonna get knocked out.”
Chisora was involved in two barnstormers against Whyte – the first in 2016 losing on a controversial split decision, the second two years later where he was knocked out.
But his losses against Fury were clear as day.
In 2011 Chisora was unanimously outpointed 117-112, 117-112 and 118-111 on the judges’ scorecards.
‘War’ got his chance at redemption two years later – but Fury put on a masterclass in the noble art as Chisora’s corner pulled him out after the tenth round.
