JAKE PAUL celebrated being named as the sixth highest-paid athlete under 25 with £30million made in boxing. According to Sportico, the American banked $37m (£30m) in the last year through his prizefights.

Paul, 25, tweeted: “Made my pro-debut January 30, 2020. 2 years & 4 months later, I’m the 6th highest paid athlete in the world 25 and under.
“Hate me all you want…I’m just gonna prove you wrong. Next stop August 13th.”
Topping the list was Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, 25, who is said to have been paid £53.2m.
Surprisingly, PSG forward Kylian Mbappe, 23, ranked just third with earnings of £39m.

Paul is the only fighter in the top ten and was behind only Canelo Alvarez, 31, and Tyson Fury, 33, in highest-earning boxers overall.
The social media sensation is currently 5-0 with four knockouts since his professional debut in 2020.
But he has faced criticism of his opponents and record for not yet facing a recognised pro.
Paul last fought in December in a short-notice rematch against Tyron Woodley, 40, after Tommy Fury, 23, pulled out.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER has announced his comeback fight has been rescheduled to this Saturday. The boxing legend was due to face former sparring partner Don Moore last weekend atop the Burj Al Arab’s hotel helipad in Dubai.

But the death of 73-year-old UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan forced the entire event to collapse. 
And the UAE’s ministry of presidential affairs announced a 40-day period of mourning and a three-day suspension of work in all ministries.
It left organisers scrambling to find a new date after the ring was put up only hours before the cancellation. 
But Mayweather has since confirmed his return to the ring faced only a seven-day delay.

The film centres around lifesaving paramedics and the toll the job takes on them, with Jean-Stephane Sauvaire directing.

And Tyson confirmed he WOULD consider another comeback in order to fight Paul.
He said on Bill Maher’s podcast,: “I’m going to call him sometime on Friday and we’re going to talk.”
