WORLD champion Shakur Stevenson has likened picking Tyson Fury to beat Anthony Joshua to betting on Floyd Mayweather.The Gypsy King, 33, solidified his status as the best heavyweight in the world last month when he stopped Dillian Whyte in the sixth round of their all-British showdown at Wembley Stadium.

Meanwhile, Joshua is currently awaiting confirmation of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
The Olympic gold medallist lost his three world title belts in September of last year when Usyk beat him by unanimous decision at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Yet despite AJ suffering his second pro defeat in his last outing, many still want to see him face Fury – particularly if he can exact revenge on Usyk.
But Stevenson, 24, who unified the super-featherweight division last weekend following an impressive victory over Oscar Valdez, does not give Joshua a chance against WBC champion Fury.

When asked about how he sees a Fury-Joshua showdown going, he told DAZN: “Betting on Tyson Fury is like betting on Floyd Mayweather.
“It’s for sure… I’m telling you, Tyson Fury, if he fights any of them guys, it’s like Floyd vs Andre Berto.”
Stevenson is referring to Mayweather’s penultimate pro fight in which he was the overwhelming favourite against fellow American Berto.

For the rematch, AJ appears to be entrusting unproven assistant coach Angel Fernandez with head-trainer duties and the task of stripping him back to his old KO-artist prime.
He revealed: “The fight with Usyk, in my mind, was going for 12 rounds.
“That was my game plan because I thought I could compete with him as a boxer. And I think he won two more rounds than I did. That’s how he became champion. 
“So the goal now is to go back to basics and go for the knockout. 
“I always feel, when I’m sparring or fighting people, I actually see their spirit get dampened. 
“Honestly, when you’re looking at this person directly in their eyes and watching their body, you can read the body and punch after punch this person is slowly fading.
“Now when you’re boxing, the art of boxing is to hit and not get hit. So you’re kind of boxing to stay away. That’s not really my style.
