Richards lands a lovely left hook but Buatsi is doing serious work with his jab at the same time.

Great final round in there. I have it 7-5 Buatsi but this could also be a draw.

Buatsi vs Richards – Round 11
Some beautiful infighting from both men to start the round.
Buatsi looks to have the advantage at close range though. Richards comes back with a couple of big right hands.
But Buatsi lands one back! Great action in the 11th.
Buatsi launches a big uppercut into the chin of Richards, but Spider is holding on and tries to come around the guard with a left hook.
    Epic stuff in there tonight.

He can’t take his foot off the gas here, Richards, he’s going to need these rounds.
Bit ponderous from both men as they look to recover from that epic eighth round.
Buatsi vs Richards – Round 8
Richards needs to get to work in this round if he’s to creep his way back into this fight. Buatsi pulling away with more accurate work.

Slow start to the round from both but Buatsi lands a nice left as Richards goes to back away from him.
Richards answers with a lovely one-two but Buatsi doesn’t blink or think about not coming forward again.
Both men stand in the centre and eye each other up before throwing a pair of jabs together in another even round.
Buatsi chases his man down but Richards looks light on his feet while getting away
    Buatsi’s round.
Buatsi vs Richards – Round 6
Buatsi comes forward again and lands a load of punches which Richards refuses to budge on.
He’s winning those rounds in my book, however, JB. Looking the more menacing man in there.
Richards will need to land some eye-catching stuff if he’s to get this on the cards aa the rounds go on.

Both men trading big shots in the fourth here as they work their way onto the inside.
Richards lands a big uppercut but Buatsi comes back with a right hand which looks like it stiffens Richards’ legs.
Crowd are also really into this one, cheering every shot which is thrown, landed or not.
Buatsi definitely the harder puncher here, but he’s yet to trouble Spider.

All three judges call it a shut-out 100-90.
Cameron remains undefeated unified world champion.
And she is desperate to be undisputed this year.
    Cameron vs Bustos – R10
The two brave women slug it out but it’s hopeful from Bustos and hurtful from Cameron.
The Brit has boxed well, avoided any damage and showed off some of her skills.
It’ll be a very unanimous win announced shortly.
    Cameron vs Bustos – R8
Bustos now sporting a welt and graze under her right eye, Cameron’s precision digs now paying off.
The Argentine is starting to slow too, engine and belief begging to run dry.
Cameron’s trainer Jamie Moore tells her to get her jab going.
But she has already added another round to her tally of 8-0.
    Cameron vs Bustos – R7
Bustos looks like she could take 15×3 minute rounds of this punishment.
Cameron’s shots are well picked and precise but there’s not much bite in them.
Bustos has been tagged almost constantly but doesn’t seem to have a mark on her.
    Cameron 7 – 0 Bustos
    Cameron vs Bustos – R6
Bustos whips up a wild uppercut that misses as Cameron pivots out of danger.
Bustos marching forward but heavy footed and getting tagged for her troubles.

Cameron lands an instant right hand over the top of Bustos’ guard.

Cameron slashes in a couple of hooks to Bustos’ ribs but the visitor is tough.
It’s another round in the bang for England’s champion. 4-0
    Cameron vs Bustos – R3
Bustos is crazy to be dropping her hands and showboating.
Cameron has stopped showing any respect for her power and is staying in range to tee off.
Bustos eats a couple of right hands and now trails 3-0.

CONFIRMS next bout for THIS year after dropping Don Moore
Money would taunt Moore throughout the fight, which was supposed to take place in Dubai last weekend but it was cancelled after United Arab president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed’s death, and never sat down in between rounds.
The American legend also laughed, smiled and made funny noises in the ring while facing his former sparring partner, as well as speak to the crowd, commentators and referee.
The undefeated boxer was having a such a good time with his opponent’s ineffectiveness that he even danced with the ring girls and held up the round card before the seventh round.
But the 45-year-old star also showed a vicious side as he floored his fellow American with a vicious left hook to the liver in the final round with 30 seconds to go before Moore was saved by the bell.

“I am so happy to be here again, I feel it is my second home, Thank you to Bruno for giving me the chance to come here and fight, he is the king of MMA here in Abu Dhabi.”
    “Maybe i’ll fight in a Jiu-Jitsu tournament…”
    Machado Interview
Machado spoke out after the fight, and he was clearly honoured to fight the great Anderson Silva.
“It is very hard to fight someone you love, thank you so much Anderson for giving me that pleasure. I love you.”
    Anderson Silva wins
What a fight, and a beautiful act of respect as Silva kneels before Machado.
Silva was excellent, and huge credit goes to Machado.
    Round Eight
Silva is trying to end this one in style.
‘Knock him out!’ is shouted loud and clear from the sidelines.
Silva looks so cool when he is in the corner with that southpaw stance, he goes for it at the end, but to no avail.
    Round Seven
Silva gets some great shots in, and it looks like he’s only fighting at 50%.
Machado looks no match for ‘The Spider’ anymore, his hands are too quick.
Machado gets a good left hook at the end of this round, and we could be set for a huge final round.
    Round Six
Silva has that look in his eyes.
Huge credit to Machado, he has stepped in the ring against his idol and has got back up after being knocked down.
Machado is trying to recollect himself here while he gets back from the knockdown.
    Round Five
Silva is letting Machado now, if he wanted to sit him down here, he could.
Any shots from Machado seem like they are not damaging Anderson Silva, he hits a beautiful left hand.
Bruno is experiencing a fight against his idol here, and holding his own!
    Silva knocks down Machado!
What a shot by ‘The Spider’, a HUGE right hook.
    Round Four.
A bit of showmanship from Silva in this one, he has a great boxing IQ.
When he wants to show up, you can bet he will show up.

Joshua Buatsi beats Craig Richards in bruising war to become King of South London and move closer to a world title

JOSHUA BUATSI stepped over Spider Richards to become light-heavy king of South London and move closer to a world title.Croydon’s 29-year-old ace edged out his friend-turned-foe, from nearby Crystal Palace, over 12 brilliant rounds with the judges scoring the exquisite action: 116-112, 115-113, 115-113.

The neighbourly respect went out the window before even the first bell as a ruck almost started as Richards, 32, entered the ring.
After losing a coin toss, Buatsi was already settled in his corner when his nightmare neighbour entered and bounced against the ropes to get comfortable.
But they crossed paths and Buatsi looked eager to kick-off early until referee Howard Foster placed himself perfectly between the imposing and fired-up figures
Right before the bell devout Buatsi bowed for one final prayer then set about Richards with rasping double-jabs.

takes on London rival Richards in huge test for 15-0 hopeful
Richards enjoyed success with arrow-like one-twos but freshly-shaved Buatsi let the shots glide off his face.
Then right at the end of the round Buatsi snapped into his ‘Just Business’ manta and thumped bruising shots into Richards who was barrelled back into the ropes and struggling under fire until the bell saved him.
Richards’ reputation for slow starts was telling as he was whacked and wobbled as soon as the second commenced .
But Spider tangled his opponent up in his gangly arms and survived the punishing session and Buatsi chased him around the O2 ring trying to stamp him out.

The exchanges in the third were brilliant, Buatsi slashed hooks into Richards’ body but then Spider landed a jab-right-left-hook combination.
Buatsi did a drunken dance, faking vulnerability and mocking his foe’s power at the same time.
Then right on the bell Richards looked genuinely hurt but another booming Buatsi blow.
A left hook to the temple seemed to buzz Richards at the start of round four but his willowy frame was still there gunslinging right on the bell when the thrilling pair went toe-to-toe and bobbed and weaved as they hurled heavy shots.
Richards had success in the fifth with a long right hand he was thumping into Buatsi’s left ear.
But then JB unleashed a dozen-punch combination that looked like getting the job done, only for Richards’ excellent defence to deflect the worst of them.

Both fighters put in excellent performancesCredit: Reuters
Richards enjoyed the sixth perhaps more than anything earlier but one crisp shot resulted in Buatsi throwing up his hands and ordering him to “come on!”
Buatsi’s cerebral US trainer Virgil Hunter was vocal in the seventh, telling his man that Richards’ eyes were swelling up and telling his student to show his learning.
Ghana-born Buatsi was fuming about a couple of accidental low-blows in round eight and Spider was warned.
Then Richards almost had it won, the same honeyshot right hand he kept cracking around Buatsi’s badly placed left glove robbed the favourite of his senses.
Dazed and confused Buatsi chose fight over flight and attacked on instinct and he showed true grit to survive the biggest scare of his career.
Both men needed time to recover in the ninth from the beating they were dishing out and having to absorb in cruel intervals.

Buatsi lost his gumshield in round 10 but Richards almost lost the fight as the teeth-baring ace went on a rampage.
Shots scythed in from all angles but Richards showed huge heart and balls of steel when his impressive defence let him down.
Buatsi took a moment to look toward Hunter in the eleventh and failed to regain his focus before Richards pinged him with another right hand.
The final round was magnificent and the partisan crowd jumped up to cheer and thank them for the blood, sweat and bruises they thumped out of each other. More

Floyd Mayweather dances with ring girls and carries round cards as he impresses in Abu Dhabi exhibition

FLOYD MAYWEATHER found time to dance with ring girls and carry their round cards as he cruised through his Abu Dhabi exhibition. The Money Man barely threw a punch in the early rounds but proved he was levels above former sparring partner Don Moore with his ability to dodge shots.
Floyd Mayweather held up round cards during his money spinning exhibition in Abu Dhabi
The American legend, 45, was talking to the referee and crowd throughout the fight as he looked to entertain.
In between rounds Mayweather could be seen carrying round cards and at one point was even dancing with a ring girl.
And when he needed to put his foot on the gas he did – delivering a vicious body shot that downed Moore.

Some beautiful infighting from both men to start the round.

Floyd Mayweather impresses in exhibition against Don Moore as VICIOUS body shot floors former sparring partner

FLOYD MAYWEATHER dominated Don Moore in an exhibition boxing fight in Abu Dhabi.Since both fighters went all the way in their eight-round bout, which wasn’t an official fight, then there wasn’t a result.
Floyd Mayweather absolutely dominated against Don Moore in Abu Dhabi
Floyd Mayweather was so comfortable he even put together a show for the crowd
But Mayweather was the obvious winner as he was so comfortable in the ring he put together a show for the live crowd and those watching at home.
Money would taunt Moore throughout the fight, which was supposed to take place in Dubai last weekend but it was cancelled after United Arab president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed’s death, and never sat down in between rounds.
The American legend also laughed, smiled and made funny noises in the ring while facing his former sparring partner.
The undefeated boxer was having a such a good time with his opponent’s ineffectiveness that he even danced with the ring girls and held up the round card before the seventh round.
