BRAVE BURGLARS reportedly stole dozen of items from feared boxer Naoya Inoue’s home yesterday as he was knocking out Nonito Donaire.The 29-year-old Japanese star proved he is still the king of the bantamweight division following a brutal second-round KO victory in his rematch.

The pair renewed their rivalry at the historic Saitama Super Arena early on Tuesday morning – nearly three years after their 2019 Fight of the Year.
Inoue retained his grip on his IBF and Ring Magazine titles in their first meeting courtesy of a unanimous decision victory.
But he went one better second time around – knocking Donaire out in the second round of their Saitama showdown.
However, reports from his homeland have now claimed that his house was being ransacked while he was in action.

TBS claims that two men were seen fleeing in a white vehicle after they allegedly prised open the door to Inoue’s home on Tuesday.
They also added that cops are still pursuing the duo.
Meanwhile, Inoue has now set his sights on claiming the WBO strap held by Brit Paul Butler and becoming the undisputed king at 118lbs.
He said: “My aim is to be the undisputed champion. If I can do that within the year of 2022, I would love to stay in this division.
“If I can’t, I am capable of raising this division and fighting in the upper division.” More

BOXER Simiso Buthelezi has died after suffering a brain injury which saw him throw punches at thin air during his fight at the weekend.The South African lightweight, who was just 24, took on Siphesihle Mntungwa in Durban on Sunday.

He lost the contest in the 10th and final round when the referee waved it off after he turned away from his opponent and began swinging at nobody – just seconds after knocking Mntungwa down.
The clip, which shows Buthelezi recieve a stiff jab to the chin before sending Mntungwa down, went viral on social media.
But the story has now taken a heartbreaking turn after it was confirmed he has passed away after slipping into a coma.

Davis is therefore open to offers on his next fight – and eleven-time world champion De La Hoya thinks ‘KingRy’ Garcia is the perfect opposition.
He’s willing to offer Davis the biggest payday of his career in a bid to tempt the lightweight champ into the ring.

Garcia is a rising star in the division and the 23-year-old looked the business as he beat Emmanuel Tagoe in April after an extended break to protect his mental health.
A super fight between the pair could only happen after Garcia has faced Javier Fortuna, who he faces in LA on July 16.

De La Hoya is confident this is a showdown boxing fans are prepared to wait for – but did admit it would be easier if Tank was under his wing at Golden Boy.
He continued: “If Tank Davis was under Golden Boy Promotions, this fight would be easy to make.
“When you have to deal with other broadcasters, other promoters, it makes things a little difficult.
“But since Golden Boy is easy to work with, since Ryan Garcia really wants this fight, I see this fight happening relatively soon.”
Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn has admitted he’d “love” to add Davis to his ever-growing stable.
While Mayweather failed to attend Tank’s fight with Romero after a “family emergency”.
