Julius Francis is a British ex-heavyweight champion born on December 8, 1964.
His prime time was in the 1990s and early 2000s when he won British and Commonwealth titles.
The ex-boxer won 23 out of 48 bouts competing against the likes of Vitali Klitschko in 1998 and Mike Tyson in the 2000.

Tyson dominated the match with five knockdowns in just four minutes.
Francis tried attacking Tyson throughout the first round, but his misses worked in Mike’s favour and headed into the second round with an advantage.
Not even 20 seconds had past, and Tyson gained the third knockdown of the match.
Francis still had fight in him to get up before being knocked down again by a left uppercut.

Despite his in-match injury, Francis got back up again but the last knockdown saw Tyson being awarded the knockout victory with just 58 seconds into the round.
When did Julius Francis stop boxing?
Julius Francis hang up his boxing boots in 2006 and went on to start a fitness company.
In 2009, Francis was involved in a road rage attack that saw him punch the car window of a motorist and shatter glass all over him, causing minor injuries to his face.
Following the incident, Francis was sentenced to 140 hours of unpaid work and a £200 compensation to the victim.

There is an ongoing police investigation about a video being circulated around Twitter which shows the ex-heavyweight champion knocking out a rowdy man with a single punch outside the North London venue.
The victim first yelled “f*** you,” and then started walking towards Francis who landed a right hand that dropped the man.
The Met Police said: “Police are aware of footage circulating on social media showing an incident involving security staff and a member of the public outside Boxpark in Wembley.
“An investigation into the circumstances, including to establish the identity and welfare of those involved, is under way.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.”

And today the 32-year-old has admitted to driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to three days in jail, but TMZ Sports report he was given credit for three days times served.
Spence released a statement through the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office on Monday.
It read: “As I recovered, I thought of how much I could have lost and how blessed I was to have a second chance at life, but I also know with this platform I can spread a very powerful message.
“Don’t drink and drive. Not one drink. It’s not worth it.”
Earlier this year, Spence Jr revealed he was suffering from PTSD after the horror smash.
Miraculously, not only did Spence survive but he resumed his boxing career a year later.
But the unbeaten Texan still bares the emotional scars of the crash and has opened up on experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder.

Spence, 32, said on The Good Fight with Kate Abdo: “When I was driving I would have like different flashes of a car running into me.
“Or I’d be at a red light and I’d just have flashes of cars hitting me and getting into car crashes all the time.
“It was when I’m just driving down the street or at a red light or anything.
“PTSD is definitely a real thing because I was having flashes all the time about getting in accidents. I still have them sometimes when I’m driving.”
He added: “Spence said: “I actually got into another accident three months after my accident. Somebody hit me from behind.
“It shook me up a little bit, but it’s really hard to get to me. I’m always on an even keel. My insurance company kicked me out.
“I was in a G-Wagon, so they were like, ‘He messed up a Ferrari, now a G-Wagon 4×4.’
“They came out at like $600,000 in like five/six months. They paid me outright for both of the cars.” More

And when they officially broke into the UK market in late 2020, AJ’s broadcast ties with Sky came under threat.
Pressure increased last summer when Hearn packed up his stable to leave sky for DAZN permanently.
But the move did not involve Joshua, 32, who was still tied down contractually to Sky.
His last fight with the TV powerhouse came in September in defeat to Usyk, 35, leading to a bidding war ever since.
And ahead of AJ’s expected August 20 rematch with Usyk in Saudi Arabia, he has committed his long-term future to DAZN.

DAZN had initially built their brand around exiting the pay-per-view market.
But they eventually launched a PPV service in May when Canelo Alvarez, 31, lost to Dmirty Bivol, also 31.
Now, they are expected to introduce PPV in the UK in time for Joshua’s rematch with Usyk.
A site fee to host their rematch is due to cost £100m alone, without factoring in PPV and ticket sales as well as sponsors.

It is not clear when and where the snaps were taken, with AJ expected to be in the UK to announce his rematch against Usyk.
Promoter Eddie Hearn is braced to confirm the heavyweight sequel, set for August 20 in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua, 32, was beaten by Usyk, 35, last September but activated his right to an immediate rematch.
But this time around he will be cornered by esteemed US coach Robert Garcia.

Long-time trainer Rob McCracken has been replaced with Garcia and No2 Angel Fernandez tasked with rebuilding AJ’s confidence and helping him regain his belts.
Promoter Eddie Hearn told SunSport: “He’s as confident as I’ve ever seen him, Anthony Joshua.
“And we all truly believe he will beat Oleksandr Usyk and Robert Garcia is a great addition to the team.”
Hearn believes if AJ continues to roll back the clock and rediscover his ruthlessness, it will lead him back to the heavyweight summit.

He said: “It’s not that I can’t see him losing, but if he does what he knows he needs to do now – and it’s not that he didn’t know what to do in the first fight – but he second guessed himself a lot.
