TYSON FURY is “not in the mood to fight anymore” but Anthony Joshua could tempt him back, his ex-coach Ben Davison said. Fury announced his retirement in April after knocking out Dillian Whyte at Wembley.

But he remains linked with a comeback to fight either Joshua, 32, or Oleksandr Usyk, 35, who rematch on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.
And Fury’s former trainer Davison claimed AJ has more chance of convincing the Gypsy King back than Usyk does.

“I don’t think he’s overly interested in anything but if [Anthony Joshua] wins, it’s a fight I think he’ll box again for.
“I know he’ll still be training, but I just think people are looking into it too much.
“What he’s saying is what it is and people are just overcomplicating it.

ANDY RUIZ JR has called Anthony Joshua out to a trilogy bout – regardless of the result in his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. AJ was stunned in defeat by Ruiz Jr in June 2019 but got his revenge on the Mexican-American in a rematch six months later.

One man eagerly watching will be Ruiz, who wants to renew his rivalry with AJ for a trilogy decider.

Ruiz said: “If Usyk doesn’t do the same thing I did (he can win), I’m sure he doesn’t because he’s been on top of the game in cruiserweight and undisputed in cruiserweight.
“I think it could go either way. I know Anthony Joshua has a new trainer in Robert Garcia, he’s over there trying to show him the Mexican style to be aggressive, throw a lot of punches, to be first, to come at him.

OLEKSANDR USYK has been backed to stop Anthony Joshua in their rematch after “giving him a boxing lesson” in their first fight. Joshua was outclassed over 12 rounds last September but the pair are set to rematch on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

Usyk almost forced a late knockout in the closing stages of the bout against an exhausted AJ.
And this time around Tyson Fury’s promoter Frank Warren predicted Joshua will not be hearing the final bell.
Warren told Boxing Social: “I think this time round he will stop him.
