KSI takes brutal swipe at Tommy Fury by claiming IShowSpeed landed MORE punches against him and aims dig at Jake Paul

KSI took aim at both Tommy Fury and Jake Paul after his charity sparring match with IShowSpeed. The YouTube sensation streamed the spar with Speed at the same time Paul was making his boxing return against Andre August.
KSI speaking out after his spar with Speed
And after three comical rounds – where Speed was dropped and sent through the ropes – KSI said enough was enough.
He gracefully handed Speed victory after pulling himself out, leaving the streamer in tears.
KSI spoke out after the spar to suggest more people viewed it than Paul’s fight with August.
And he claimed Speed landed more punches against him than the 39 Fury managed in October.

KSI told Fred Talks Fighting: “I think it was definitely the event of the night.
“I think there was a lot of boxing fights happening at around the same time.

KSI, 30, was beaten for the first time by Fury, 24, but the controversial points decision is still being appealed.
Meanwhile Paul, 26, knocked out August, 35, with a right uppercut in round one and responded to KSI’s spar with Speed afterwards.
He said: “I don’t care it’s just two different things, right? He’s chasing views as a 30-year-old man and I’m chasing legacy and belts.

Five next fights for Jake Paul after stunning Andre August KO with announcement set for NEXT WEEK

JAKE PAUL is already looking to line up his next fight after brutally knocking out Andre August. The YouTuber-turned boxer closed the show inside the first round with a massive right uppercut.

And he was immediately probed on when his next fight could be.
To which Paul said: “We’ve got an announcement coming next week.”
So here, SunSport takes a look at who could be next for the self-proclaimed Problem Child.
    Tommy Fury
Fury, 24, so far remains the only man to have beaten Paul, 26, thanks to his split-decision win in Saudi Arabia in February.

And it sets the pair up perfectly for a rematch, something Paul has always insisted he will deliver.
He said before his fight with August: “It’s going to happen. I’m coming for you Tommy. I’m going to knock him out.”

It’s the mother of all grudge matches in the YouTube boxing world but so far it has failed to materialise.
In the lead up to Paul’s win over August their opposing teams were going back and forth over terms for the grudge bout.

So far it looks as though an agreed upon weight is holding up an agreement but there is still a score to be settled.

    Viddal Riley
Riley, 26, shot to fame as the coach to KSI and AnEsonGib, who Paul knocked out in his pro debut.
But he is also a former amateur champion and current 10-0 English cruiserweight title holder.
And with Paul open to facing established boxers, when asked about Riley he said: “For sure that can happen, it would be interesting.”

    Idris Virgo
Virgo – a former Love Islander – had 12 pro wins before he took the influencer boxing route with KSI’s Misfits Boxing.
His popularity also increased after becoming a training partner of KSI’s.
So if Paul wants to fight another boxer, who has a profile and connection to KSI, a good wildcard option would be Virgo, 30.

IShowSpeed floored several times and left in tears after charity sparring match with KSI

ISHOWSPEED was left in tears after being floored by KSI in their charity sparring match. The two were scheduled for six rounds to help raise money for the Anthony Walker Foundation.
    KSI dropped IShowSpeed several times
KSI even knocked Speed into the ropes
Speed was pulled out after six rounds
And it was purposely staged at the exact same time as Jake Paul’s fight with Andre August, which he won in the first round.
KSI has boxed eight times, most recently in October when he lost for the first time, against Tommy Fury.
Whereas Speed – a streamer known for his obsession with Cristiano Ronaldo – has hardly laced up a pair of gloves.
    And it showed.

    ‘No elbows’
Despite being battered and bruised, Speed made a hilarious dig at KSI mid-fight.
In a bout back in May, KSI controversially knocked out Joe Fournier with what appeared to be his elbow.
It led to Speed shouting “no elbows okay” at him.
KSI laughed it off and said, “no, no, I won’t.”

    KSI dances in the ring
KSI even took time to have a little dance in the ring while Speed was down for the count at one point…

    What’s next for KSI?
Fans will naturally want to see the YouTube mogul take on Jake Paul but KSI has previously said he wants to take a bit of a break.
Paul has already spoken about potentially fighting KSI’s former trainer Viddal Riley.
Riley is a pro boxer himself and is signed to Anthony Joshua’s management company.
KSI may instead go down the route of a Tommy Fury rematch.
    Another one
Adding salt to the wounds, KSI slammed Jake Paul after his win over Andre August.
He said: “I mean, am I shocked? No. We all know that Jake just look for super easy fights and he fought a cab driver this time.
“It is what it is. I don’t really care about him, I didn’t even know he was fighting the same time as me.”

He looked to have taken a swipe at Jake Paul, who was fighting Andre August at the same time as the spar.

The YouTube star has spoken out for the first time since the spar and laughed at the fact Speed refused to shake his hands.
KSI tweeted: “Can’t lie, I’m proud of speed. He got HEART!”

    Round 4
KSI continues to taunt Speed by dancing in the ring.

    Trash talking
The two are now trading words and Speed is getting more and more annoyed.
“I will be breaking him goodbye Speed,” KSI says.
    Almost there
Despite being advertised as a 4am start, it looks as though things might kick off early.
Jake Paul has just walked out for his fight with Andre August and it looks as though KSI will try and tie the spar in for the same time.
    On guard
Speed takes off his head guard because he doesn’t like the fit!
KSI finds it “jokes” but Speed isn’t laughing.
    Ring it in

World champion boxer Amanda Serrano has heaped praise on Jake Paul after his win over Andre August.
The Puerto Rican fighter and current unified featherweight champ has previously trained with the influencer-turned-boxer.
She tweeted after his win: “I told you so! I knew Jake was going to knock him out. His power in the gym was nuts this last camp.”

Riley is a British born fighter, who used to train KSI before pursuing his own career in boxing.
The 26-year-old was in KSI’s team when he beat Jake’s brother Logan in 2019.
On the possibility of fighting Riley, Jake said: “Yeah for sure that could happen, that would be interesting.
“He has a name, a profile, and that is something that excites me for sure.
“As I go down this path I am going to continue to challenge myself and some of those names start popping into the equation.”
    Logan reacts
Logan Paul was left shocked ringside when Jake landed the brutal first round knockout.

Paul advises next wave of fighters
“We live in a different boxing world now, in a different digital age in general, and it’s the fighters’ responsibility now to promote themselves,” he said.
“And once they realize that, and realize instead of sitting around on the weekend and playing video games in between the training sessions, they gotta be on TikTok and making YouTube videos and getting out there and going on interviews and podcasts and getting any opportunity they can to grow their name.
“That’s why I would just encourage everybody else. The promoter is dying. It’s now the responsibility of the fighter. That’s the new boxing world. Just hustle, man. Just hustle.”

    Christmas party
Paul noticeably came out to an iconic Christmas song during his ring-walk tonight – Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.
“We just always had these vibes going in camp, and sometimes we’re playing different music, and one day we were sitting in the backyard, and this pal’s like, it’s Christmas, oh my God, they’ll start playing the Christmas hits,” he said.
“And that first song came on and I was like, this is what I’m walking up to.”
    Turning haters to believers
“If I was walking on water in front of everybody’s eyes, they would say I couldn’t swim.
“When you take this path, and you’re in the top of a sport, and you got there in three and a half years with the jealousy and hate and insecure people, all the time, of course, they’re gonna critique and find any little thing that they can to try to bring me down.
“But what they don’t know is that it’s just making me bigger, just making me stronger, just making me more motivated to go ahead and become world champion.”

    Punch tally
Jake Paul threw six punches tonight. Not a bad night’s work.
    Any call outs?

Asked who he wants to fight in 2024, Paul answered: “No, I’m not going to call out any names.

“We all know who I’m talking about.”
I think he might be talking to you, KSI…

Logan Paul enters the ring and takes the mic.
“What y’all gonna say now? A 10-1 boxer that’s been doing it his whole life! This young man is the most impressive person in boxing today. The showmanship, the performance, the hard work, the drive the effort.
“I could not be a prouder brother. I’m happy to share my last name with you.” More
