Watch Mike Tyson show off lightning boxing skills and speed at 53 which would still give top heavyweights problems now

BOXING legend Mike Tyson proved he still has it in his locker after showing off his quick hands during self-isolation.

The 53-year-old knocked out 44 opponents throughout a career that saw him crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

Much of Iron Mike’s success can be put down to legendary trainer Cus D’Amato.

But it appears his dog, Mars Tyson, is now his sparring partner after throwing a few air jabs in his kitchen.

With plenty of time on his hands during the coronavirus outbreak, Tyson created Mars his own Instagram page.

His social media profile has become an instead hit after uploading a video on Instagram of Mike dancing around his kitchen in a throwback to his fighting days alongside the caption: “I went easy on him.”

While facing Mars, Tyson proved that age is just a number as he ducked and dived with speed before pulling out his old school ‘peek-a-boo’ move.

Mars appeared to take it on the chin before doing the smart thing and retreating to a different room.

Boxing fans loved seeing a glimpse of Tyson back throwing his punches with one commenting: “I reminder that Mike will still lay your ass down.”

Another commented: “That speed though. The pupper made the smart decision.”

A third added: “Champ still got that movement.”

Tyson recently earned a whopping £17,000 in just six hours by sending personalised video messages.

The American, who is believed to have a net worth of around £2.5million, is raking in £250 for sending out personalised clips to fans.

He is using the video uploading site Cameo – and has just one review so far, a five-star one at that.

And his move on to the platform is going pretty well, earning almost £20,000 in his first six hours of ‘work’ according to TMZ.
