A pal revealed: “She had no idea. Millie said she was stunned and felt taunted. She was so upset.”

Millie was left devastated when Stones, father of her three-year-old girl, left her in November 2018.

Stones, 25, is now living with beautician Olivia but is keen for Millie to move out of their old home.

‘Millie was heartbroken’

He arrived at 10.30am on Thursday for a meeting in Manchester about the split with a team of lawyers, his agent, PA  and Olivia.

He emerged smiling with Olivia five hours later — and Millie, supported by her mum Mandy, left two hours after them.

A friend said: “Millie was heartbroken when she split from John and has tried to pick up the pieces. But she says she’s found it incredibly stressful and coming face to face with Olivia wasn’t what she wanted.”

Stones and  Millie started dating after meeting at school — and she was seen as a steadying influence on him as his career took off.

Olivia, 30, ran a salon in Cheshire before she gave birth to a son, who was not fathered by Stones.

Stones and Olivia are renting a £3.5million five-bed mansion in Prestbury.

But the defender, bought by City for £47.5million in 2016, is said to want Millie to leave their old  £6million Cheshire home so he can move back in.

The former couple’s assets are said to be in his name alone. A source said: “Millie just wanted a normal home, normal family and to be happy.

Now she feels like she has very few options. John wants his home back and there’s nothing she can do.

“Millie knows she’ll have to leave soon and has agreed to do so.  Nothing has been agreed formally. She feels extremely sad.”

Sources close to Stones say he will not renege on his commitments — and is prepared to buy a property and rent it to Millie.
