INTER MILAN have halted all playing “activities” as Juventus star Daniele Rugani has tested positive for coronavirus three days after the teams met.
Italy centre-back Rugani even posted a tweet of dressing-room celebrations after Juve returned top of Serie A with Sunday’s 2-0 home win behind closed doors.

But Juventus confirmed on Wednesday night Rugani, 25, has Covid-19, albeit with no symptoms so far.
Inter quickly responded by saying: “FC Internazionale Milano announces that, following the Juventus FC statement regarding the positivity of the player Daniele Rugani at COVID-19, all competitive activities are suspended until further notice.
“The club is taking steps to prepare all necessary procedures.”
Juve said they were “activating all the isolation procedures required by law” – including anyone who has come into contact with “currently asymptomatic” Rugiani.
He was an unused sub last Sunday, having played only seven times for the Serie A champions this season, despite winning four titles and picking up seven caps.
Serie A has already been suspended until at least April 3 as Italy is the European nation hit hardest by coronavirus.
Thursday’s Europa League match against Getafe is the first casualty of Inter’s playing suspension.
Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte put the whole of Italy into lockdown even before the World Health Organisation declared the virus a pandemic.
Now he has closed all shops except food stores and chemists as Italy passsed more than 12,000 cases, including 287 deaths.
