And one Gunners supporter has poked fun at the current crisis by posting a picture of a barren store onto a Reddit thread.

Captioning the post, he quipped: “Went to get some toilet roll and hand sanitizer – got confused and found myself in the Spurs Trophy room.”

Fellow football fans were quick to reply to his joke, as one commented: “A toilet and their trophy room? Are you sure you’re not at their stadium?”

Another said: “Clearly fake, there’s no Audi Cup there.”

A Tottenham supporter even saw the funny side, as they messaged: “As a Spurs fan. I can tell you, this was better content then entire game against RBL.”

One added: “Clearly fake, there’s no Audi Cup there.”

The coronavirus crisis has caused chaos in the sporting world in Europe, with Italy forced to go into lockdown.

As a result, the Serie A season could be CANCELLED without a winner.

All sporting events in Italy have already been called off until April 3, while a host of games this week will be played behind closed doors in an effort to stop the outbreak.

It has even been suggested that Uefa are considering postponing all of Thursday’s Europa League round of 16 matches over fears people may catch the contagious bug.

Arsenal were set to face Manchester City at the Etihad on Wednesday night, but the Premier League match has been postponed.

A number of Gunners players are reportedly in quarantine after they met with Olympiacos and Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis last week – with the 52-year-old since testing positive for coronavirus.
