PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are desperate for their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund to go ahead as normal – as they stand to lose over £4million if fans are not let in.
On Tuesday, France’s sports minister Roxana Maracineanu revealed the Champions League tie could be played behind closed doors due to fears about coronavirus.

But PSG are hoping supporters are allowed to attend the Parc des Princes, despite France placing bans on gatherings of 5,000 or more.
If the public are banned from attending the game, the Ligue 1 giants would lose a huge amount in ticket sales revenue – roughly £4.4m.
Sources close to Maracineanu have since revealed the PSG-Dortmund clash being played behind closed doors is merely a worst-case scenario.
Maracineanu’s comments also concerned Lyon’s game with Juventus on March 17.
Uefa met for their annual congress in Amsterdam, Holland on Tuesday.
And secretary general Theodore Theodoridis revealed they are not afraid to “intervene” if needed.
Theodoridis claimed: “The schedule is busy and each match postponement could be problematic.
“We are discussing the situation with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the various governments.
“We must intervene on a case by case basis and not overreact.”
PSG host Dortmund on March 11, with the German giants leading 2-1 from the first-leg thanks to two goals from Erling Haaland.
It has already been confirmed the Champions League clash between Atalanta and Valencia will be played behind closed doors.
The northern part of Italy, where Atalanta are based, is the region most-affected by coronavirus.
There are already closed to 2,000 reported cases of the deadly bug in Italy – with 34 deaths so far.
Inter Milan’s Europa League game with Getafe is also said to be at risk.
Serie A were forced to postpone five games over the weekend, including Inter’s top-of-the-table clash with Juventus, due to coronavirus fears.
This summer’s Euro 2020 is already at risk, while the Olympics could even be cancelled over spread of the virus.
Next month’s London Marathon is also in jeopardy, while rugby union, cycling and Formula One are just a few other sports affected by the pandemic.
