Deontay Wilder warns Tyson Fury ‘the war has just begun’ in Instagram video and tells fans: We will regain the title

DEONTAY WILDER has given the go-ahead to part three of his saga with Tyson Fury – by sending the Gypsy King a video message on Instagram revealing: “The war has just begun.”

The American, sensationally destroyed by the Brit in seven rounds in Las Vegas last weekend, called out Fury and set up a third match-up between the two heavyweights, set to be in July.

Fury’s outclassing of the Bronze Bomber was the first time the American has been stopped in his 44-fight career.

It was a different story to the first clash between the pair when Wilder rocked Fury with a thunderous final-round punch.

Wilder has blamed his assistant trainer for throwing in the towel in last week’s rematch.

He also blamed the heavy costume he wore for the ring walk.

But now he has decided to take up the 30-day clause to stage a rematch.

In his video calling out Fury, he said: “‘Hello my people, my Bomb Squad army, my Bomb Squad nation, to all my loved ones around the world, I just want to let you know I am here.

“Your king is here. And we ain’t going nowhere, for the war has just begun. I will rise again. I am strong. I am a king, you can’t take my pride.

“I am a warrior. I am a king that will never give up. I’m a king that will fight to the death.

“And if anyone don’t understand that, don’t understand what it is to go to war, don’t understand what it is to fight, we will rise again.

“We will regain the title.

“I will be back. We will hold our heads up high. Your king is in great spirit.

“We will rise like a phoenix from the ashes and regain the title. I’ll see you in a few months, for the war has just begun. All my love to all my people.”

Promoter Bob Arum has already indicated the clash will take place in Las Vegas in July.

But Fury’s promoter could still put off that third fight until after his man takes on Anthony Joshua in a battle of Britain.

They believe this will earn more pay-per-view hits than Fury-Wilder part three.

Having seen the Bronze Bomber so outfought, out-thought and out-classed there would not be the same appetite for another fight as there was the first two bouts.

If Joshua skips his fight with Kubrat Pulev in June – and vacates his world title belts – he could take on Fury instead.

That would mean the earliest a Fury-Wilder 3 would take place is in the autumn.
