He could now be out for the rest of the season.
Hazard, 29, had only just returned from injury in what has been a nightmare first season at the Bernabeu.
The attacker has just one goal for Real this campaign as his move has turned hellish.
But he could now be ruled out for the rest of the season.
A club statement said: “Following the tests carried out today on our player, Eden Hazard, by the Real Madrid medical department, he has been diagnosed with a fracture to his right distal fibula. His recovery will continue to be assessed.”
Hazard was sidelined from November to February with an ankle injury.
He has already missed 20 games with injury since his big move to Real Madrid.
That is the same number as he missed hurt in his entire SEVEN YEARS at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard was removed in the 67th minute with the score tied at 0-0.
And Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane’s misery was compounded 12 minutes later when Jose Luis Morales’ strike stunned the Spanish giants as it rifled past keeper Thibaut Courtois and into the net.
The shock goal condemned Real Madrid to their first league defeat since OCTOBER, when they fell to Mallorca – another game that Hazard missed.
Barcelona won 5-0 against Eibar to move clear at the top of LaLiga.
Hazard’s injury rules him out of the El Clasico with Barcelona next weekend.
He will also miss the Champions League last 16 tie with Man City.
The first leg is at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
