Tyson Fury tells wife Paris she ‘lives like footballer’s wife and not a Traveller’ in row over kids going to school

TYSON FURY told partner Paris she lives life like a “footballers’ wife” during a disagreement over their children’s education.

The heavyweight champion is locked in a war with his other half ahead of his huge WBC showdown scrap with American brute Deontay Wilder.

Fury, 31, married Paris, 30, in 2008 after meeting as teenagers and the couple have five children together.

They have three sons named Prince, and daughters called Venezuela and Valencia – all under the age of ten.

Both Fury and Paris were brought up with traditional Traveller lifestyles which meant leaving school at the age of 11.

But it appears they are at loggerheads over whether their children should follow suit or continue their education in schools.

Speaking on ITV’s documentary, Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King, Paris says over lunch: “Me and Tyson have talked about the kids going to school.

“Tyson wants the boys to go into education but I don’t; it’s just not what we’ve ever done.

“I was brought up as a Traveller and I want my kids to be brought up as Travellers. They will probably leave school at 11 and they’ll be educated at home from then.

“The boys will take a wife and make their family and the girls will take a husband and make their family.

I think you live like a footballers’ wife.

“Until they take a husband or wife they won’t be leaving the home and I wouldn’t want them to, but for definite [eldest daughter] Venezuela won’t be.

“Tyson’s idea is they have the best of the both worlds; the upbringing of a Traveller but the education of a non-Traveller – how powerful could you be?”

But Fury wants his children to take a different path and claims they can be precedent setters just like himelf.

He also suggested that his wife Paris is not living the lifestyle of a Traveller.

Fury responded: “Do you think you live a Traveller’s lifestyle? Because I don’t. I think you live like a footballers’ wife.

“You said it’s not something we have ever done. But I am a precedent setter am I not?

“Now I’ve set these laws and precedents you watch how many will follow. Watch!

“The parents of these kids I call them dream killers.

“Because [they say] ‘Oh, you never get anywhere because you’re a traveller or because they don’t want you to do it.’

“Because something went wrong in their life you can’t pawn off on your kids either.

“I hate dream killers, you can’t do this, you can’t do this, who is anybody to say you can’t do anything.

“Whatever all of the kids want to do, I’ll just be happy they’re following their dreams because I hate dream killers.”

Tyson Fury’s trainer Javan ‘Sugarhill’ Steward won’t confirm that the Gypsy King was injured in training
