Fury and Wilder BANNED from facing off at weigh-in after press conference shoving match

DEONTAY WILDER and Tyson Fury have been BANNED from going face-to-face again after their weigh-in following the pair’s shoving on Wednesday.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission have barred the heavyweights from getting up close and personal on Friday afternoon ahead of their rematch.

Their decision comes just 24 hours after the Bronze Bomber and Gypsy King become embroiled in a push-and-shove row at yesterday’s pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas.

And that means Fury will have to wait until he is inside the ring to look the WBC Title holder in the eye again.

Top Rank president Todd duBoef told ESPN: “In my 25 years in boxing I’ve never heard of an administrative body stepping in and prohibiting a face off.

“It’s the pinnacle moment before the fight. I am just shocked.”

Fury, decked out in a hoodie, cap and shades, was in no mood for messing when he confronted the American in Sin City as the clock continues to tick down towards fight night.

The 6ft 9in Brit danced right in front of his opponent and yelled: “I am going to pop you like a balloon.”

Wilder was the first to nudge the Englishman but Fury reacted with a meatier push and a barrage of insults.

Fury yelled: “I will put everything on it — you are going down.

“I got straight up twice after you hit me with your best shots. You are terrified, your little knees are knocking. When I shoved you across the ring, you flew like a featherweight.

“Keep that belt warm for me, get it polished for me.”

He added: “I am going to punch your face right in and laugh at you.

“You had to rob me in the first fight when I was training like a dosser.

“I am going to pop you like a balloon.”
