FLOYD MAYWEATHER looks set to make his return to the ring this year.
His last fight came in December 2018 with an easy exhibition win over Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.

The legendary boxer is reportedly keen on showcasing his skills at the ripe old age of 42.
And there are plenty of opponents Mayweather could have the option of facing in 2020.
Here, SunSport looks at five opponents who could step in the ring with the 50-0 undefeated supremo, who could even be fighting two of them on the SAME day.
CONOR McGREGOR

MAYWEATHER secured win number 50 with a 10th round KO of McGregor in their August 2017 Las Vegas battle after the Irishman swapped the UFC octagon for the boxing ring.
They have long been tipped to clash for a second time after Mayweather reportedly pocketed a stunning $275million for his participation.
And Mayweather recently hinted an agreement is close by posting a mock-up poster for a new fight on social media.
KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV

REGARDED as the UFC’s top fighter, Khabib is reportedly keen on testing out his boxing skills against Mayweather.
It’s reckoned a fight between the pair had been set to take place in Saudi Arabia last month before UFC chief Dana White pulled the plug.
And Khabib is now apparently offering to take on Mayweather in 11 rounds of boxing – and one in MMA.
MANNY PACQUIAO

ONE of boxing’s biggest rivalries turned out to be a complete dud when Mayweather and Pacquiao finally fought each other in May 2015, with the American winning by unanimous decision.
However, Pacquiao is back to his best after claiming the WBA welterweight title last year.
And he is said to be pushing for a second battle against Mayweather while also holding talks to fight UFC ace McGregor.
CANELO ALVAREZ

THE Mexican is regarded as the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet.
But his one defeat came against Mayweather in September 2013 and he could be hungry for revenge.
However, Mayweather could be forced to wait until the end of the year as it’s believed Canelo is on the verge of announcing a title fight against British star Billy Joe Saunders for May 2.

SURE to be a money-spinner, rapper 50 Cent and Mayweather have been taking digs at each other’s wealth – or lack of – on social media.
The war of words has been intensifying over the past few months.
And there could be a chance for the pair to settle their beef in the ring at some stage this year.
