MANCHESTER United striker Odion Ighalo has been banned from the club’s training ground over coronavirus fears, according to reports.
Ighalo, 30, on a season-long loan from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, has reportedly been ordered to stay away from the rest of his team as a precaution.

The Nigerian forward has not been diagnosed with the virus – but was told to quarantine himself from United’s AON Training Complex for health and safety reasons, the Times reports
He is working at another facility in Manchester with a personal trainer, according to the Mirror.

Man United’s squad is currently on a warm-weather training camp in Marbella, Spain, during the Premier League’s winter break.
Ighalo did not join his teammates due to border restrictions placed on travellers who have been in China for the past 14 days.
United were concerned UK immigration could tighten border restrictions after the World Health Organisation upgraded the coronavirus outbreak to a global emergency.
The club said that “it is simply a precautionary measure as the situation continues to be monitored”.
But it has now emerged that club chiefs decided to keep former Watford striker Ighalo away from the club’s training ground while he still in the 14-day incubation period.
The forward did not travel from the deadly bug’s epicentre in Wuhan, but United believe keeping him isolated is the sensible move to make.
However, Ighalo will be eligible to make his debut against Chelsea on Monday as his 14-day quarantine period will be complete.
Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the Nigerian will travel to West London, saying: “We want to integrate him as quickly as we can because he is desperate to play for us.
“He is going to travel with us [to Stamford Bridge]. We will just see on his fitness work this week and I think we will get him sharp.”
SPREAD TO LONDON
The woman in London contracted the virus in China and flew to the UK where she tested positive at a hospital in central London this afternoon.
A total of 1,759 people have been tested for coronavirus in the UK, of which 1,750 were confirmed negative and now nine positive.
Five cases have been confirmed in Brighton, two cases in York, another in an undisclosed location and the ninth diagnosis in London.
Professor Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer for England said: “One further patient in England has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of cases in the UK to nine.
“This virus was passed on in China and the patient has now been transferred to a specialist NHS centre at Guy’s and St Thomas’ in London.”
It comes as 12 schools in Sussex have been placed on infection alert as teachers and pupils are told to quarantine themselves.
One further patient in England has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of cases in the UK to nine.

Five people in the county have been diagnosed with coronavirus and dozens who came into contact with them have been ordered to self-isolate by Public Health England (PHE).
Since then, schools in Brighton, Hove and Eastbourne have pupils or staff in quarantine as a precaution.
Brighton has become the epicentre of the virus after a cub Scout leader — dubbed the coronavirus “super-spreader” — unwittingly brought it into the UK last month following a business trip to Singapore.
Stephen Walsh, 53, from Hove, may have spread the virus to dozens of people without suffering any symptoms himself.
The dad of two is said to be “very concerned” that he will be a “scapegoat” for the national crisis.
Mr Walsh was discharged from St Thomas’ Hospital in London today after being analysed in its isolation unit.
The sales executive, 53, said: “I’m happy to be home and feeling well.
“I want to give a big thank you to the NHS who have been great throughout and my thoughts are with everyone around the world who continues to be affected by the virus.
“It’s good to be back with my family and I would ask you please to respect our privacy from this point on”.
