JOEY BARTON was sent off in stoppage time as his Fleetwood side knocked Wycombe off the second spot.
Raging boss Barton got his marching orders by referee Kevin Johnson after a few choice words from the touchline.

He joined striker Ched Evans in the dressing room after the striker was shown a straight red on 68 minutes for elbowing Wycombe defender Jason McCarthy in the face.
It was the footie bad boy’s second red of the season after he was sent to the stands in December.
The fiery 37-year-old was incensed after a Evans goal was disallowed with 20 minutes to go at Highbury in the 0-0 draw with Bristol Rovers.
He thought his side had taken the lead, only for referee Paul Marsden to disallow the effort for offside after a consultation with his linesman.
And the former Manchester City, QPR and Burnley man took his protestations too far – with play being halted for three minutes as Fleetwood argued the decision.

Marsden decided to put his foot down, and send Barton to the stands.
Tonight away at Wycombe, The Cod army had taken the lead on 75 minutes when full-back Barrie McKay’s speculative cross from 25 yards out sneaked past keeper Ryan Allsop, with Fleetwood hitman Paddy Madden claiming he got the faintest of touches.
Evans should have put Fleetwood ahead after three minutes when Wycombe keeper Ryan Allsop passed the ball straight at him.
But he failed to capitalise on the keeper’s clanger and saw his shot blocked by Allsop’s legs.
Evans was presented with another chance when Coutts cross found him at the far post but the hitman’s downward header bounced up and hit the bar.
There were more let-offs for the Chairboys when efforts from full-back Danny Andrew and central defender Lewis Gibson hit the woodwork.
Fleetwood had their own escape before the break when Josh Parker unleashed a 20-yard curler that thumped against the bar.
