FORMER Celtic striker Tony Watt has joined Motherwell on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
SunSport revealed yesterday that the Scotland cap was poised to sign after impressing Well boss Stephen Robinson during his training stint at Fir Park.

Watt was available on a free transfer after leaving CSKA Sofia in January following just six months in Bulgaria.
And now the 26-year-old – pictured arriving for Motherwell training this morning – has put pen to paper on a short-term contract, filling the void left by James Scott’s £1.5million move to Hull City.
Well gaffer Robinson said: “Tony is a player who maybe has a little bit of a point to prove.
“We lost James Scott at the last second of the window. So being able to bring a player of Tony’s experience in on a short-term deal is a big boost for us.
“He will bring us another option in attack as we look to secure a top six place and push on.”
Watt could make his debut for the Steelmen in tomorrow’s Scottish Cup fifth round clash against St Mirren.
He’s expected to hit the ground running after making 18 appearances for CSKA this season.
Watt started his career at Airdrieonians before landing a dream move to boyhood heroes Celtic.
He famously scored the winner in the 2-1 win over Barcelona eight years ago before moving to Belgium firstly with Lierse on loan and then on a permanently with Standard Liege.
Watt later had spells in the English Championship with Charlton Athletic, Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers.
He joined returned to Scotland with Hearts on loan but the deal was cut short after scoring just once in 17 games for the Jambos.
A season back in Belgium with OH Leuven followed before further stints at St Johnstone and CSKA Sofia.
