Tyson Fury wants ‘farewell fight’ with old pal Derek Chisora at Old Trafford despite Gypsy King beating him twice

TYSON FURY revealed he wants a “farewell fight” against old pal Derek Chisora at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.

The Gypsy King, 31, insisted he will only have three fights left after he rematches WBC champion Deontay Wilder, 34.

Fury, a United fan, claimed he tried to bring his second fight with the Bronze Bomber to Manchester to complete an ambition of fighting at Old Trafford.

But entering the final stage of his career the 6ft 9in traveller has told Chisora – who he beat in 2011 and then 2014 – that they will fight for a third time at the Theatre of Dreams.

Fury told BT Sport: “I’m happy just doing what I’m doing, ticking along nice and slowly and just take a few more scalps before I hang the gloves up. Three more.

“I’m going to knock Wilder out, and he’s not going to want a rematch, I’m going to fight Joshua, I’m going to beat him too, and then I’ve always said to my old pal Derek Chisora I’d have a farewell fight with him.

“Maybe we can get the Old Trafford fight with old Del Boy.

“And then it’s curtains on a fantastic career.”

Fury was aged 22 when he became the first man to defeat Chisora after outpointing the Brit before the Gypsy King scored a stoppage victory three years later.

Initially Fury claimed he would face Dillian Whyte as part of his final three fight plan.

But the unbeaten heavyweight and his US promoter Bob Arum want to make a Battle of Britain between the Gypsy King and AJ, 30.

And Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn is also hoping to match the domestic rivals, and even suggested they would be more likely to fight in Saudi Arabia – where AJ won back his belts against Andy Ruiz Jr.
