RANGERS are set to land Romanian youngster Ianis Hagi on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The attacking midfielder lit up the Euro Under-21 Championships last summer, scoring against Croatia and England.

Now the Genk attacker, son of Romanian legend Gheorge Hagi, is on his way to Ibrox to complete a deal that will see him play under Steven Gerrard until the end of the season with an option to make the deal permanent.
Hagi is expected to arrive in Scotland today before being put through a medical and completing the move ahead of tomorrow night’s transfer deadline.
Hagi joined Belgian champions Genk last summer in a five-year deal worth just under £4million.
He has made 19 appearances for the club so far this season and scored three goals with four assists.

The 21-year-old would become Steven Gerrard’s first January signing.
But SunSport understands he may not be the last.
Gers suffered an injury blow last night when Jermain Defoe was stretchered off against Ross County.
Gerrard fears losing the veteran forward for a crucial period – forcing him to delve into the transfer market.
The arrival of midfielder Hagi does not mean Gerrard has abandoned his search for another striker.
Speaking last night, Gerrard said: “Jermain will be scanned in the next 24 hours and we’ll know more about it then.
“He has got a calf injury and I’m concerned.
“But I don’t know how long the injury will keep him out – whether it will be a week, two weeks, three or four weeks
“I don’t think it’s as bad as going off on a stretcher makes it look. He’s walking about in dressing room.
“Does it mean I may need to sign a striker? Possibly.
“I haven’t spoken to Ross Wilson about that situation yet. We have a couple of things brewing besides that.
“It might alter a few things, it depends on the extent of the injury. We’ll decide from there.
“In general, I’m confident we could add before the window closes.
“We will also assess Jermain’s situation and go from there.”
