It will be held TONIGHT, January 17 at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, where Sporting have failed to win any of the last seven derbies.

Kick-off is at 9.15pm UK time.

What is the team news?

MANCHESTER UNITED are set to complete the £60million signing of Sporting’s Bruno Fernandes.

SunSport revealed earlier this week how the Red Devils had finally landed their man – but reports in Portugal suggest that he will still appear in this game before jetting off to the Premier League.

The hosts are without Neto who has broken ribs, while Renan Ribeiro and Jovane Cabral are both big doubts.

Benfica have no new injury concerns and are unbeaten in the Primeira Liga so far this season.

Fernandes STARTS meanwhile and will be keen to add to the brace he scored against Setubal last time out, especially if this proves to be his final game in a Sporting shirt.
