YouTuber Logan Paul and NFL bad boy Antonio Brown ‘in talks’ for sensational fight in April

LOGAN PAUL is in talks for a sensational fight with NFL bad boy Antonio Brown, according to reports.

Brown, 31, called out Paul on Twitter earlier in January with the YouTuber keen to make a deal happen.

According to Boxing Scene, Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing company and streaming platform Dazn are in negotiations for a mega bout in April.

The report adds that Brown has already started a training camp to get ready to face Paul.

He is thought to have uploaded footage on social media of his work inside the ring at a gym in Miami before swiftly deleting the post – but did not delete his picture with boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko.

Brown had his contract cancelled by the Super Bowl-champ Patriots earlier this season after an investigation was launched into allegations of sexual assault made against him.

Brown’s career has been in limbo since being fired in September.

His sexual assault investigation is still ongoing, but Allegheny County in Pittsburgh — where the allegations were made — could not press charges because of a statute of limitations “issue”.

Brown was finally axed after allegations emerged that he had sent intimidating text messages to an accuser of sexual assault.

But he is now working with former boxer Eromosele Albert, who had a professional record of 24-6-1 with 12 KOs before hanging up his gloves in 2011.

Albert told Boxing Scene: “Antonio Brown just started boxing and we just started training together. Yes, he is serious about the fight.

“We’re starting a training camp now. He’s a natural. He’s an athlete. It’s not a big transition. He’s going to catch up really quick.

“He needs a lot of work to get done, to correct all of his mistakes. We have three months to get ready for the fight. That’s enough time.

“He’s in shape already. We just have to work on his technique, head movement and defence — and that should be it for him to be ready.”

Paul lost his pro debut to KSI in November after a six-round thriller in Los Angeles.

But he appears keen to step back into the ring and was quick to hit back at Brown on Twitter.

Brown tweeted Paul, calling for a fight, writing: “Square up @LoganPaul.”

And the YouTube star cheekily replied: “I’d drop you faster than the patriots.”
