ANTHONY JOSHUA’S rematch win against Andy Ruiz Jr was DAZN’s most streamed sporting event of 2019.

The sports streaming service – which launched in September 2018 – is available in Austria, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States.

They partnered with British boxing promoter Eddie Hearn and signed lucrative deals with AJ and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.

Two of Canelo’s world title fights featured on the list, with the Daniel Jacobs win at No10 and Sergey Kovalev victory at No4.

Interestingly the YouTube rematch between KSI and Logan Paul – which Hearn predicted would be the most viewed fight on DAZN – only ranked fifth.

Without releasing any viewing figures Joshua’s win over Ruiz in Saudi Arabia was the platform’s most viewed event.

Despite not having the Champions League rights in the US, European football matches have still drawn in big numbers for the online service.

Liverpool’s final win over Tottenham last season was just behind AJ vs Ruiz 2.

Three more Champions League games were featured on the list, including the two semi-final legs between Liverpool and Barca.

The dramatic second game that saw Liverpool win 4-0 on the night and 4-3 overall was the third most viewed DAZN event.

In Italy DAZN share the Serie A right with Sky Sport and the Milan derby in September stood seventh on the list.
