Logan Paul hits back at NFL bad boy Antonio Brown’s call for a fight and threatens to ‘drop him faster than Patriots’

LOGAN PAUL has hit back at NFL Bad Boy Antonio Brown after being challenged to a fight.

The YouTube star and the controversial former New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver have been engaged in a slagging match on Twitter.

Brown, 31, had his contract cancelled by the Super Bowl-champ Patriots earlier this season after an investigation was launched into allegations of sexual assault made against him.

He has now tweeted Paul, calling for a fight, writing: “Square up @LoganPaul.”

And the YouTube star has cheekily replied: “I’d drop you faster than the patriots.”

Brown had only played one game for Bill Belichick’s team when he was axed — and they could have used his prodigious talents after they were dumped out of the play-offs by the Tennessee Titans in a 20-13 loss on Sunday.

Ohio social media star-turned boxer Paul, 24, has hardly got a faultless record himself, after a defeat to Watford ace KSI in November.

The fights have made waves in the conventional boxing world and the second bout was promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom, as well as being broadcast on Dazn.

Brown’s career has been in limbo since being fired by the Patriots in September.

His sexual assault investigation is still ongoing, but Allegheny County in Pittsburgh — where the allegations were made — could not press charges because of a statute of limitations “issue”.

BURNED BRIDGES

Brown has received little sympathy from fans after requesting a trade from the Steelers at the end of the 2018 season, which saw him get into a fight with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

He then transferred to the Oakland Raiders, but fell out with his new employers and was released just six months after signing.

He was then picked up by the Patriots, scoring a touchdown against the Miami Dolphins before being released just two weeks after signing.

Brown was finally axed after allegations emerged that he had sent intimidating text messages to an accuser of sexual assault.

He tweeted in November that he has not quit the sport.

Brown said: “Imagine conforming to a system giving it a 100 percent to see them treat me like this is unfairly !

“Making money off my sweat and blood F*** the @nfl I’ll never play in that s*** treat black people the worse! Clear my name and go f*** yourself.”
