According to The Mirror, Liverpool have been one of the club’s monitoring his success so far this term.

The former Hull star has represented England at Under-16s and U17s level and Gareth Southgate has been watching developments.

Before England played Montenegro and Kosovo in Euro 2020 qualifiers, Clark made a stats-based Three Lions squad which was compiled by Sky Sports.

The left-back has 18 months left on his deal at Vitesse contract and the Dutch side are preparing for winter window bids.

Andy Robertson has not missed a single game for Liverpool this season – except Carabao Cup ties, as he was rested.

With the Reds heavily dependant on their full-backs, Jurgen Klopp could be looking to bring in cover for Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Liverpool are braced to lose young forward Rhian Brewster next month, with Swansea said to have made a loan approach for the 19-year-old.

The Swans have now formally approached the Reds about a loan deal for the striker for the rest of the season.

Brewster has only made two appearances for Liverpool this season and a move to Swansea in the Championship would allow him more game time.

Other Championship teams including Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday are also interested in the youngster.
