A NORWICH fan has been arrested and banned for three years after throwing a mobile phone onto the pitch in the aftermath of Teemu Pukki’s disallowed goal on Saturday.
The Canaries thought they had gone 2-0 up when the Finnish hotshot slotted past Paulo Gazzaniga after taking down Mario Vrancic’s pass.

The goal was disallowed by the finest of margins
But after a lengthy VAR check, the officials, lead by referee Kevin Friend, disallowed the goal for an extremely marginal offside against Pukki.
And amid the furore of the home fans, one supporter launched his mobile phone on to the field of play.
The supporter in question was identified and subsequently arrested at half time.
And while Norfolk Police continue to investigate the incident, Norwich released a statement.
It read: “Norwich City continues to operate a strict zero-tolerance policy on unacceptable and discriminatory behaviour.”
Norwich subsequently surrendered their lead and remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
Christian Eriksen’s free-kick early in the second half initially drew Spurs level.
And while Daniel Farke’s side were handed a gift when Serge Aurier turned the ball into his own net to put Norwich back in front.

Harry Kane’s penalty late on sealed a point for Jose Mourinho’s under-par Spurs.
Farke had his say on the unpopular technology after the game.
He said: “It is tough for the lads to accept. To be 2-0 up half-time is a big step.
“I was proud with the whole stadium. We were excited, celebrating, Teemu is relieved after not scoring for two games and the whole place is buzzing.
“Then we get a sucker punch for the players and the fans but we reacted in a perfect way. Our supporters tried to back us even though we were all annoyed.”
And he went on to fume: “My gut feeling is that when you look at the technology you see a line where Teemu is an inch offside.
“I would like to know if the line is drawn at exactly the moment Mario Vrancic plays the ball. When it is drawn with a nice pen Teemu is offside.
“I thought we wanted to support the attacking players and if there was any doubt it should go to the offensive players.
“It is wasted energy. I can’t influence it but it feels like no VAR decision goes our way.”
