FIVB reflect on an incredible 2019 on and off the court

Lausanne, Switzerland, December 20, 2019 – The FIVB has proved time-and-time again the importance it places on global fan engagement, as the International Federation today published its highlights of 2019 in a digital book.
Entitled “2019: An Incredible Year on and off the Court”, the book reflects on the fantastic major volleyball events from the past year that have taken place across all five Continental Confederations.
The book provides images and statistics from events such as the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), Beach Volleyball World Tour Finals and Beach Volleyball World Championships.
Following the launch of the book, FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça Fᵒ said:
“It is a wonderful opportunity to look back at another great year for the Volleyball Family. The VNL saw more than 600 of the world’s best players compete for the 2019 title, while the 2018/2019 Beach Volleyball World Tour saw more events and more teams than ever before.
“This book is an interactive digital copy which highlights the skill, physical prowess and teamwork of our athletes. Their actions on the court are a great advert for volleyball, and we now look forward to another amazing Olympic year.”
