Unhappy at his side’s imminent defeat, SAT player Lucas Torres chased down rival Matias Casco on the touchline and hacked him without getting anywhere near the ball.

Local reports claim the players are old friends, having played together at a former club.

As the Jaguel player writhes around in agony, a brawl breaks out with players throwing punches left, right and centre.

Yet, no one appeared to attend to the injured footballer as the scene escalated.

Players and coaching staff trade blows across the pitch in a crazy end to the match.

Two footballers were filmed kicking each other during the mayhem.

The match immediately came to a close and players retired to the change rooms, where further verbals were exchanged.

After half a minute of madness, things begin to calm down.

The referee then blew for full time to end the ugly scenes.

Torres is understood to have apologised to Casco after the game, claiming he didn’t realise it was his old pal he was kicking.

The amateur final was for a regional tournament that takes place in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires.
