Late goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Bukayo Saka completed the comeback in Belgium.
But despite avoiding nightmare games against Inter Milan and Ajax, Roma could be equally as tricky should the pair be drawn.
Other possible trip-ups for Freddie Ljungberg’s men include Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, Sporting Lisbon and Bayer Leverkusen.
But they would fancy their chances against the likes of Apoel and Ludogorets.
Both Inter and Champions League semi-finalists Ajax finished third in their groups but are seeded so cannot face the Gunners.
So too are Erling Haaland’s Red Bull Salzburg and Benfica.
While the Gunners also dodge the likes of Porto, Sevilla and Celtic who all finished top of their Europa League groups.
Two sides Arsenal will definitely avoid are Wolves and Manchester United as they are fellow Premier League teams.
United topped Group L but Wolves finished second in Group K.
