MARCOS ALONSO is reportedly being lined up for a January switch to Atletico Madrid.
The Daily Mail claims Chelsea are ready to loan the left-back to Diego Simeone’s side before cashing in on a permanent deal next summer.

Alvaro Morata swapped Stamford Bridge for the Wanda Metropolitano in similar circumstances a year ago.
And Atletico are now ready to take another outcast off Chelsea’s hands after Frank Lampard made it clear Alonso was no longer in his thoughts.
The left-back, 27, has made just seven Premier League appearances this season after a huge dip in form.
It’s been claimed Alonso downed tools after signing a new long-term £100,000-a-week deal last season.
And memories of his contributions to the 2017 title win have already been forgotten by fed-up fans.
Alonso is now set to be booted out of West London alongside fellow misfits Pedro and Olivier Giroud.
But despite interest from Inter Milan and Juventus, it appears that Atletico Madrid will be his next destination.
The La Liga side are in dire need of a new left-back, with Mario Hermoso better suited to a central role and Renan Lodi yet to adapt.
Alonso’s exit would open the door for a new player to join Chelsea next month.
Blues legend Ashley Cole says he would like to see Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell arrive at the Bridge.
While Lampard could opt to re-sign versatile defender Nathan Ake from Bournemouth using a £40million buy-back clause.
