Everton star Richarlison reunited with missing husky Acerola just two hours after launching desperate Twitter appeal

OVERJOYED Everton striker Richarlison has been reunited with his runaway pet husky – just two hours after launching a Twitter appeal.

Richarlison’s distress turned to delight as his post revealing Acerola had “fled” from Liverpool’s Crosby area was retweeted more than a thousand times and quickly brought success.

The Brazil star then put up a grateful message saying: “Hi every one I am pleased someone found Acerola and took to a vet, finally he is ok.

“I would like to thanks to every body whom try to help me and support me. Thank you. Best regards. Richarlison 7.”

Fans responded by congratulating Richarlison on both Acerola’s return and the ex-Watford ace’s improving English.

‘SO HAPPY HE’S SAFE’

One supporter tweeted: “Aww. so happy he’s safe well and be back warm and cozy with his beautiful family. thank god.”

And praise for Richarlison’s writing included: “Your English is coming along nicely. I am happy you have your dog back.”

Richarlison has been on a high as his early opener sparked Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Chelsea in Duncan Ferguson’s first game as caretaker chief.

But the 22-year-old will be particularly happy his real Goodison Bark has returned.

Now Richarlison can focus on raising the ruff at Goodison once again as the Toffees seek to overcome the slump that led to Marco Silva’s sacking.

Former Chelsea chief Carlo Ancelotti and ex-Everton manager David Moyes remain among the favourites to pick up the lead from Ferguson and be handed the permanent job.
