ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC could yet make an incredible return to the Premier League at the age of 38.
That is according to his agent Mino Raiola, who has quashed talk that the former Manchester United star’s move to Italy is a done deal.
Zlatan’s agent has hinted he could yet make a return to the Premier League
Ibrahimovic recently dropped a huge hint that he will once again play for AC Milan after leaving LA Galaxy last month.
Speaking to GQ Italia, Ibrahimovic said: “I will go to a club that has to win again, that has to renew its history, which is looking for a challenge against everyone.
“See you soon in Italy.”
But now Raiola has made it clear all options remain on the table by giving an open-ended answer when asked about his client’s future.
Asked about ruling out a transfer to anywhere else bar Italy, Raiola said: “Why would I?
“It’s not been said that he will necessarily return to Italy.
“Which of the three interested clubs will he choose? Who knows, we’re all free men.
“Could he retire? I’m not going to exclude anything but it is very unlikely. Ibra is still very well.”
The former Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona striker has been linked with a move to AC, Bologna and Naples – all in Serie A.
And Raiola joked that he is looking forward to this transfer saga ending.
He added: “Where would I like to see him go? Away from me so he will stop stressing me out!”
Ibrahimovic may remain a legend to most of the world but not to fans of his first club Malmo.
They recently burned his statue after he bought stakes in local rivals Hammarby.
