How Arsenal could line up against Brighton with Ljungberg facing striker dilemma amid Pepe and Lacazette woes

FREDDIE LJUNGBERG will take charge of his first home game when Arsenal welcome Brighton to the Emirates.

The interim boss will want to see his side bounce back after last weekend’s underwhelming 2-2 draw with Norwich.

Arsenal’s defence took the brunt of the blame for the club’s shoddy performance at Carrow Road on Sunday.

But Ljungberg’s attacking options will have to be reassessed ahead of the clash against Graham Potter’s men.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has cemented his spot in the squad after scoring 12 goals this season.

But Nicolas Pepe was forced to watch from the sidelines against Norwich because of his poor showing in training.

And Alexandre Lacazette’s dip in form has left Ljungberg short of options.

If the interim boss decides to put his faith in the struggling stars, he could opt for the classic 4-2-3-1 formation.

Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil and £72million summer signing Pepe would start behind Lacazette.

Another option for Ljungberg would be to start Ozil alongside youngster Joe Willock and Gabriel Martinelli with Aubameyang up top.

In defence, the Gunners could welcome back Hector Bellerin after he sat out of their last two matches.

The 24-year-old will be assessed before the clash against the Seagulls – who are without a win in their last three league games.

Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos remains out of action as he continues his recovery from a hamstring issue.

Arsene Wenger happy to help at Arsenal if Freddie Ljungberg seeks advice
