LIVERPOOL were sent into a late panic in what was set to be a comfortable win over Brighton by Alisson Becker’s red card.
The goakeeper was penalised for handling outside the box late on in Saturday’s Premier League match with the Reds 2-0 up.

A long ball over the top set Leandro Trossard away and his chip was clearly palmed away by Alisson in the 76th minute.
That drew Adrian off the bench, for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but the Spaniard was immediately caught napping by Lewis Dunk.
Brighton’s centre-back noticed the goalkeeper taking too long to organise his wall and stepped up to fire home just as Martin Atkinson blew his whistle.
Dunk’s free-kick nestled in the far corner with Adrian helpless and quickly complaining to the referee – to no avail.
But the keeper’s worries weren’t over as a late chance was spilled in the six-yard box and almost at the feet of the onrushing attacker.
Meanwhile, Alisson will now sit out Liverpool’s games with Everton, Bournemouth and Watford due to an inevitable three-game ban.

Liverpool still held out for a 2-1 win to make hay on Manchester City’s earlier draw with Newcastle.
