HARRY KANE and Trent Alexander-Arnold have received the seal of approval from David Villa ahead of Euro 2020.
The Spain hero won the competition 11 years ago as part of an all-conquering La Roja side.
Villa set out his XI in a 4-3-3
And he has tipped England captain Kane to double up on his World Cup Golden Boot by finishing as top scorer in the summer’s Euros.
Labelling the Tottenham star as “the best No9 in the game right now”, Villa described Kane as a “compulsory” pick over the likes of Robert Lewandowski.
Alexander-Arnold isn’t the only Liverpool defender selected by Villa with Virgil van Dijk also named.
Speaking to Booking.com, the 37-year-old said: “Van Dijk is the best central defender in the world right now and so must take the first centre-back position.”
Spanish pair Sergio Ramos and Jordi Alba complete the defence, in front of Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
An old teammate of Villa’s is the first pick in midfield – Sergio Busquets marked down as “the best defensive midfielder to ever play the game”.
Chelsea ace N’Golo Kante is also given the nod, sandwiched between another Barcelona player in Frenkie de Jong.

Slotting in alongside Kane in attack are Kylian Mbappe and the “beast” Cristiano Ronaldo.
Portugal take on the continent’s best as the holders this summer but Villa expects the Juventus forward to be able to handle the pressure.
Vissel Kobe forward Villa remarked: “He has the added pressure of being one of the few players in the world that every football fan expects to perform. I don’t think he will disappoint next year.”
