What is the team news?

Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to return for the Atletico Madrid clash after sitting out of Juventus’ 3-1 win over Atalanta, after manager Maurizio Sarri said he was not ready.

This is despite the Portuguese star featuring during the international break, notching up three goals in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Elsewhere, Juve are still without influential defender Giorgio Chiellini, while Federico Bernardeschi, Adrien Rabiot and Alex Sandro are also unavailable.

Mattia Perin and Marko Pjaca could be fit to make the squad, but will likely be allowed to fully recover from their long-term injuries.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid will be missing Diego Costa and Sime Vrsaljko, along with central defensive duo Jose Maria Gimenez and Stefan Savic.

That could see Mario Hermoso and Felipe start at the back once again, while Borja Garces is back in training after recovering from a cruciate ligament problem.
