Wilder vs Ortiz undercard: Who is on TONIGHT’S fight card, and what time does event start in Las Vegas?

DEONTAY WILDER and Luis Ortiz will come face-to-face in a hotly anticipated rematch at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this weekend.

But there are a number of other fights to look out for on the undercard in what promises to be an entertaining night of elite level boxing.

Who is on the undercard?

Wilder may be the biggest name world champion on the bill, but there is another huge star who is defending his world title in the super featherweight division.

Mexican Leo Santa Cruz, who lost to Carl Frampton in 2016 before getting revenge in January 2017, defends his 130-pound WBA strap against fellow countryman Miguel Flores.

Also on the card is Puerto Rico’s Emmanuel Rodriguez who will be looking to bounce back from a brutal second round knockout defeat to Naoya Inoue as he takes on unbeaten 30-0 prospect Luis Nery.

Full undercard:

    • Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz (heavyweight)
    • Luis Nery vs Emmanuel Rodriguez (bantamweight)
    • Brandon Figueroa vs Julio Ceja (super bantamweight)
    • Leo Santa Cruz vs Miguel Flores (super featherweight)
    • Leduan Barthelemy vs Eduardo Ramirez (super featherweight)
    • Jerry Perez vs Mark John Yap (super featherweight)
    • Viktor Slavinskyi vs Rigoberto Hermosillo (super featherweight)
    • Arnold Alejandro vs TBA (lightweight)
    • Omar Juarez vs Kevin Shacks (super lightweight)
    • Jose Manuel Gomesz vs Daniel Placeres (super featherweight)
    • Angel Alejanadro vs TBA (featherweight)
    • Shon Mondragon vs TBA (super bantamweight)
    • Vito Mielnicki Jr vs Marklin Bailey (welterweight)
    • Marsellos Wilder vs Dustin Long (cruiserweight)

When does the fight event start?

The fight bill kicks off at 2am UK time on Sunday, November 10.

Santa Cruz’s bout is fourth from the top of the card and so will be on relatively soon after the show begins airing.

Rodriguez’s clash with Nery is the chief support and so the bell is likely to ring for that one around 3:30am.

How do the fighters compare?
