TIMOTHY FOSU-MENSAH showed off his substantial scar following surgery as he returned to Manchester United training.
The Dutch right-back suffered a horror injury when on loan at Fulham in April and needed to go under the knife.

He was taken off on a stretcher and in obvious agony but later posted a smiling thumbs-up photo from his hospital bed after the operation.
And now fully seven months on he is ready to fight for his place again – albeit with a whopping scar running down his left knee.
Fosu-Mensah, 21, made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Cottagers, who were relegated to the Championship after just one season back in the top flight.
Before that came a spell at Crystal Palace – and he will no doubt be happy to have game time at United or another club after overcoming the injury.
The attacking full-back will also want to reassert his status as fastest player in the Premier League.
Although new team-mate Daniel James might have something to say about that.
Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suffered further boosts in training with Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic and Axel Tuanzebe all set to return from injury.
Paul Pogba remains out, however.
Shaw, Matic and Tuanzebe have all returned to Carrington this week after injuries – but they are still a few players short.
Amongst the big names, Pogba and McTominay now look set to miss Sunday’s game against Sheffield United with ankle injuries, say the club.

But Shaw could return on the left-side of defence – despite Brandon Williams’ superb start to life in the first-team – having been out of action since August.
Tuanzebe is expected to also be available having limped out of the warm-up prior to United’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool last month.
And Matic may be on the brink of a return too having been sidelined for much of the season.
