Watch Lionel Messi’s amazing dribble past FIVE players despite falling over during Argentina draw with Uruguay

ANYTHING is possible when Argentina magician Lionel Messi is on the field.

And it proved once again last night as he managed to dribble past five Uruguayan opponents despite falling to the floor.

Messi, 32, kept his nerve in the last seconds of the game to rescue an equaliser from the penalty spot in a 2-2 draw against their rivals.

But his most impressive moment came in the 21st minute when he picked up the ball inside Uruguay’s half.

Quickly closed down, he managed to somehow beat two players and breeze past Lucas Torreira before the Arsenal man did he best to bring him down.

Instead of appealing for a foul, he got back on to his feet and dribbled past another man before deceiving a defender by passing it out wide.

Messi had a big impact in the entertaining friendly as Argentina were forced to come from behind on two occasions.

Edinson Cavani put Uruguay ahead after latching on to Luis Suarez’s cross.

Sergio Aguero then levelled the scores with a header by glancing in Messi’s whipped delivery.

Five minutes later and Messi’s Barca team-mate Suarez got himself on the scoresheet before Martin Caceres handled in the area.

Messi was involved in another incident when he had a bust-up with Cavani.

The pair squared up and it was reported that the Paris Saint-Germain forward even offered to fight Messi, to which he replied: “Whenever you want”.

His row with Cavani was Messi’s second major confrontation of the week, after he exchanged words with Brazil boss Tite during his nation’s 1-0 win in Saudi Arabia.
