BILLY JOE SAUNDERS facing Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in his next fight is a “strong possibility” after the Brit’s win on the KSI vs Logan Paul undercard.

And on the same night KSI outpointed YouTube rival Logan Paul, Canelo’s trainer Chepo Reynoso was ringside to watch Saunders’ stoppage win.
Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed the WBO super-middleweight champion is in line to face four-weight champion Alvarez next.
Or the 2008 Olympian could unify his title against the winner of WBA champion Callum Smith and John Ryder – who fight next weekend.
Hearn told iFL TV: “Strong possibility (Saunders fight Canelo).
“You’ve got Callum Smith next week, for me Callum Smith or the winner of that fight is a natural unification.
“And that would be the fight that happens if he doesn’t get Canelo.
“Also, I like the Demetrius Andrade fight, so I’ll probably make him an offer for that.”
Canelo still holds the WBC and WBA middleweight belts, as well as titles at super-middleweight and light-heavyweight.
Although Saunders has told the Mexican superstar he wants the bout at 168lbs, but is also open to moving up to 175lbs, the division Alvarez dethroned Sergey Kovalev this month.
However, reigning as a four-weight champion, Canelo is not short of options.
And Hearn revealed Saunders is joined by Gennady Golovkin, Smith, Dmitry Bivol and Andrade on the list of potential next opponents for Alvarez.
