Watch MotoGP star Remy Gardner fly 75ft in horror crash in wet conditions during Australia practice

MOTOGP star Remy Gardner had a miraculous escape after flying 75ft in a horror crash in wet conditions during Australia practice.

Aussie Gardner, 21, managed to walk away unhurt after the terrifying accident at Phillip Island today.

The wet, greasy conditions on the circuit made life incredibly difficult for the riders.

And when the rain came, it made the track even more slippery.

Home favourite Gardner came off at Hayshed corner and he flew an astonishing 75ft – mirroring the horror crash involving Marc Marquez in Buriram last month.

Gardner’s ONEXOX TKKR SAG flew into pieces at the gravel trap.

He flew up and landed on his BACK.

Gardner then rolled through the gravel at high speed.

The most amazing thing was that the racer did not even break a bone, coming away with scrapes and bruises.

He sat straight upright, got to his feet and was escorted off by marshals.

Gardner was left frustrated and took that out on the track, with his pride the only thing hurt.

There were several falls during the morning practice, as riders continued to struggle in the conditions.

Championship leader Alex Marquez was among the fallers.

His Honda went down on his out-lap.

Gardner eventually came 11th, 1.9 seconds behind Jorge Martin’s Red Bull KTM Ajo.

His bike was left with rear wheel assembly damage.

Incredibly, brave Gardner returned for the second practice.

However, he could only finish 19th in the drier conditions.
