INTER MILAN snatch an advantage against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Following a back-and-forth first half, in which Bayern controlled general play, it would be the Italian giants who made the first break as Lautaro Martínez finished off a sweeping transition move.
Substitute Thomas Müller would be picked out in the back post unmarked by Konrad Laimer to level the tie with five minutes to go, only for Inter to gallop down the other end minutes later with Carlos Augusto, who squared across to Davide Frattesi to bundle in.
The defeat was Bayern’s first at home in the competition in four years.
