Sidemen 9 YouTube All Stars 9: iShowSpeed scores crucial penalty as AngryGinge spared of last-gasp howler

YOUTUBE ALLSTARS beat Sidemen FC on penalties in a frantic 18-goal charity match at Wembley Stadium.

The Allstars lifted the trophy for the first time since 2017 in front of a sell out 90,000 crowd and over two million people watching online.

The Sidemen had Logan Paul and Joe Weller joining them – with YouTube Allstars fronted by some of the most popular internet faces in the world in iShowSpeed and Mr Beast.

There was sure to be laughs with Spencer Owen and Stephen Tries providing one liners on commentary – and it took just 20 seconds for the chaos to start as the always injured Theo Baker was jokingly subbed off.

The goals then began to flow as ex-Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg somehow missed a blatant handball from AngryGinge on the line as he channelled his inner Luis Suarez from the 2010 World Cup.

Wembley’s big screen was used as makeshift VAR and the spot-kick was then converted by Sidemen FC’s Weller.

But the Allstars hit back despite Mr Beast having a penalty saved by xQc as Chris MD fired in a stunning distance free-kick to equalise.

YouTube’s equivalent to Messi then turned provider as Theo Baker scored from a corner.

Clattenburg missed another obvious handball in the box, this time from KSI, but the Allstars still made it 3-1 with Speed setting up Lachlan Power.

Miniminter pulled one back to make it 3-2 thanks to sketchy goalkeeping from Sketch, who later lost his glasses and conceded while unsighted.

As they tried to square it to him, Danny Aarons intercepted yet accidentally smashed the ball off his own post and Tobi could eventually roll it home.

The second-half was just as manic as the first with TEN more goals.

Logan Paul’s physical presence was eventually too much for Sidemen FC as the YouTuber-turned WWE favourite bullied defenders in the air and headed in.

Internet comedian Max Fosh then gave away a penalty and was booked by Clattenburg – only to hilariously whip out a mini shredder from his sock and destroy the yellow card.

Josh stepped up and finally scored for Sidemen FC – cue mass celebrations with both managers on the pitch, 6-4.

But there was to be a comeback… launched by an AngryGinge goal.

Speed, who was living up to his name by kicking and running like Adama Traore, then did his icon Cristiano Ronaldo proud, scoring a penalty and doing his “Siuuu” celebration.

An hour in and it was 6-6 – Premier League take notes.

Big man Chunkz then made it 7-6 to the Allstars with a fortunate finish after Speed sprinted clear and missed a huge chance.

He might not be a prolific finisher but his athleticism was causing havoc, setting up Kai Cenat to tap home, 8-6 Allstars.

A crazy game finished 9-9 and the Allstars won it on penalties

However, it was far from gave over as brothers Tobi and Manny combined to pull a goal back for Sidemen FC and Ethan kept ‘faith’ in his finishing to make it 8-8.

It set up a stunning finale and the pressure got to AngryGinge as he sliced a clearance into the path of George Clarkey to tap in, 9-8.

There was just seconds remaining and Theo Baker spared Ginge’s embarrassment to send it to penalties, full-time 9-9.
