AMAD DIALLO has been the shining light of Manchester United under new boss Ruben Amorim this season.
However it is now touch and go whether the Ivory Coast ace will be playing again in this campaign.
Amad is the club’s joint top goalscorer alongside Bruno Fernandes with nine goals in all competitions, while only the club captain, with 12, has provided more assists than Amad (7).
Why is Amad Diallo not playing for Man Utd?
Amad Diallo has suffered ankle ligament damage.
The star confirmed in a statement on Saturday, February 15 that he will be out for “some time”.
The 22-year-old is still being assessed, with major fears his season is now over.
Amad wrote on Instagram: “Extremely disappointed to be writing this message in such a crucial time of the season.
“Unfortunately, I will be out for some time with an injury. I will come back stronger than ever!!
“Time to support the boys from the outside. Still loads to play for.”
