United keep Kath in their thoughts
United have kept the memory of much-loved receptionist Kath Phipps at the front of their thoughts on matchday after she died this week aged 85.
The club had shared the news of her death by describing her as: “friend, confidant and treasured colleague” – adding “United will never be the same”.

And this afternoon the club posted on social media: “Thinking of you today, Kath.”

Red Devils’ statement reassures fans
Everton’s derby with Liverpool was amongst the victims of Storm Darragh today.
But United were able to reassure fans just before noon.
They issued a statement saying: “Today’s Premier League fixture at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest is scheduled to go ahead as planned.
“The club will continue to consult the relevant authorities throughout the day and will update supporters immediately if anything changes.”
