And after the game he was treated to a big surprise in his press conference, which lasted a matter of seconds.

That is because not a single question was asked by the reporters who had gathered at the end of the match.

Riemer, 46, had a surprised look on his face and left smiling without saying a single word.

Fans were equally as bemused with one reacting: “Awkward! πŸ˜‚”

Denmark secured a Nations League quarter-final spot while Serbia were knocked out, but the media chose not to question Riemer about the achievement.
