JAKE PAUL and Mike Tyson will go head-to-head in Arlington, Texas tonight in one of the most highly-anticipated fights of the year.
But despite the huge build-up and blockbuster feel of the bout, the pair will do battle on a Friday rather than a Saturday.
Paul and Tyson are fighting at the AT&T Stadium, with over 60,000 fans expected to pack into seats to watch the fight and millions watching from home on Netflix.
And it’s that venue choice that has meant the fight can’t take place in a prime time Saturday night slot.
AT&T Stadium isn the home of NFL team the Dallas Cowboys, who are currently in the middle of their season.
And the Cowboys are hosting their next fixture on Monday night, a clash with huge Texas rivals the Houston Texans.

It’s claimed by ABC News that it will take around two days for organisers to return the stadium back to its usual self in order to host the NFL game on Monday.
And for that reason, the fight is taking place on a Friday rather than a Saturday – to allow more time to get things back to normal.
The boxing ring, any floor seating and all graphics and posters put up for Paul vs Tyson will have to be removed before the Monday Night Football fixture.
Things have already get feisty ahead of tonight’s fight.
